Titans Under Sails is an NGO that organizes rehabilitation sailing trips for defenders with amputations and those released from russian captivity. Our program is built on a simple but powerful principle: the defender is an equal member of the crew, with the strength and capacity to cross seas and oceans. Over 7–10 days at sea, they navigate the vessel, stand watch, and are responsible for their share of work alongside volunteers and professional skippers. No hierarchy. No therapy rooms. Only the open sea, the team, and a challenge that restores what traumatic war experience has taken away. Since January 2025, we have held 7 rehabilitation trips in the Canary Islands, Greece, and Croatia for approximately 116 defenders. The number of prospective participants among defenders continues to grow each season, as the effectiveness of this type of rehabilitation is quickly becoming evident. None of this happens without partners and patrons. Every organization or volunteer who joins us gives one more defender the chance to return to an active personal and professional life.
